Power Women Awards 2022
Citywealth is hosting the Powerwomen Awards cocktail evening on the 3 March 2022 in London.
Women are ascending to the real seat of corporate power – the Fortune 500 boardroom – at a record rate, according to CNN, last year, of the 462 newly appointed Fortune 500 board members, 183 of them or 40% were women, according to a report from executive search firm Heidrick & Struggles in 2019. That’s more than double the rate from a decade ago and the highest on record. Whilst we must celebrate this change, as one lawyer at a leading UK law firm said, “if you don’t keep your foot on the peddle, things go backwards quickly.” Let’s continue to keep the pressure on and keep #payingitforward for future generations.
